How Can I Book a Rental?

We try to streamline the rental process here at Velocity. You can book a vehicle two ways:

1. Via our website

    • Simply click on the vehicle of interest in our fleet and fill out the form at the bottom of the page. We will use your contact information to reach out to you and confirm the availability of your desired vehicle and schedule your appointment in our booking system.

2.  Via telephone

    • Call or text our number and we will walk you through the booking process for your rental.
What about insurance?

You agree to provide full coverage insurance (comprehensive and collision coverage) where you are listed as a primary or additional driver. Velocity Exotic Cars will confirm that your coverage will transfer to your rented vehicle and that vehicle’s value. 

Insurance companies accepted by Velocity Exotic Cars include but are not limited to:
Geico, AllState, Statefarm, etc.

Insurance companies NOT accepted by Velocity Exotic Cars include but are not limited to:
Progressive, Dairyland, The General, etc.

Every insurance policy is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Velocity Exotic Cars DOES NOT provide any additional insurance.

All policies must be active for a minimum of 30 days.

Is a deposit required?

No deposits are required for renters aged 21 and older with a valid credit card in their name.  For renters aged 18-20 or for renters without a valid credit card in their name, a deposit is required. 

Are refunds offered?

Unfortunately, Velocity Exotic Cars does not provide refunds, returns, or exchanges of any kind for any reason, including but not limited to changes in travel plans, personal itineraries, etc. Our goal is to provide you with the best experience possible. If you experience any issues during your rental, please let us know in order to make the appropriate arrangements for you such as rescheduling your rental for an open date when available. If you are 30 minutes late to your desired pickup or dropoff location/time, the rental will be canceled  and NO REFUND will be issued for no-shows. 

What payment methods are accepted?

Velocity Exotic Cars accepts VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Velocity Exotic Cars require a credit card to be on file for vehicle rental payment and damage coverage. Velocity Exotic Cars will accept cash on a case-by-case basis. 

Can I take my rental on a racetrack?

Driving a rental vehicle from Velocity Exotic Cars on a racetrack is strictly prohibited under all circumstances. There are absolutely no exceptions to this rule. Our insurance company as well as yours WILL NOT allow any of our vehicles to be driven on a racetrack of any kind. 

Do you deliver cars? How much is this service?

Velocity Exotic Cars will deliver a vehicle to you within a 20-mile radius of our location free of charge. Distances exceeding this limit will result in a delivery surcharge which will be disclosed to you when booking a rental. 

How much tax should I expect to pay?

Rentals are charged a 6.5% sales tax rate. 

What is the mileage limit I am allowed to drive?

Each vehicle in our fleet is assigned a specific mileage allowance, which can be found on each vehicle’s dedicated page on our website. The renter is responsible for paying an over mileage fee if the given mileage allowance is exceeded. The fee is applied per mile exceeded. Additional mileage allowance can be purchased if desired. 

What if I get a ticket?

The renter is fully responsible for any tickets or infractions incurred during the rental period. Parking, speeding, traffic, tolls, or any other violations/infractions issued while the vehicle is being rented is the sole responsibility of the renter. The renter must pay any fees, penalties, towing charges, impound costs, and all other monies that are associated with the rental vehicle during the renter’s possession of the vehicle. 

Will I get charged a fuel surcharge if I return the car with less gas than you provided?

All vehicles must be returned with at least the same amount of gas provided at the time the rental period began. Velocity Exotic Cars will provide you with at least 3/4 of a tank of gas or more when you pick up your rental. Being that our fleet comprises of only high-performance cars, you are REQUIRED to fill each car with +93 octane gasoline. All rentals returned below the amount of gas provided will receive a $7 per gallon surcharge.  

Do I have to submit any form of background check or driver's training report or certificate?

These actions are not required. However, it must be noted that Velocity Exotic Cars has the right to refuse rentals to those with major moving violations, DUI convictions, and any other major legal infractions. 

What fees may be charged?

Velocity Exotic Cars has the right to charge for vehicle damages, curbed rims, smoking inside of the vehicle, not fueling up the vehicle, and other excessive negligence to the vehicle. The fee amount will vary on a case-by-case basis due to the severity.
